The planning work involves organising and shaping the important public transport hub at the central station (Sentralstasjonen) and its adjacent city development areas. Terminal functions for ferries, shuttles and trains are organised along a new link between the fjord and Midtbyen, which releases a greater city development potential on both sides of the railway. The area is primarily designated to commercial developments.
