A new business and office complex is planned for the northern part of the city centre block including the landmark Wi-To tobacco corner store (Wi-To-kvartalet). The project is limited to the K1 section. Transitions in the roof landscape, adaptation to heritage listed buildings, improvement of street spaces as well as marking the significant corner building in the intersection of Fredrik Langes gate and Grønnegata have all been important topics in this project. The concept uses simple and clean facades in a construction that conserves the heritage listed buildings while making the necessary improvements in relation to adjacent city spaces.
